Carpenter Metal

Metal recycling · Alliance, Ohio

Built. Honest. American.

Carpenter Metal Solutions has spent over 40 years buying, trading, selling and melting every grade of ferrous and non-ferrous metal, and showing the people we buy from what their metal is actually worth.

Chapter one · The yard

This is our yard.

Six acres in Alliance, Ohio. You are flying it right now. The wheel is the camera.

Rail on the north line. Ferrous in rows. Non-ferrous under roof. A certified scale at the gate.

Chapter two · The metal

High-temperature alloys are the house specialty.

Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy, high-nickel bearings and buttons. We buy them by chemistry, not by guess, and ship them to the specialty consumers who pay for what they really are.

Ferrous moves in volume.

Shred feed, heavy melt, plate and structural, turnings. Weighed on certified scales and shipped direct to the mill, which is why the numbers work.

Copper, brass, aluminum, every day.

Bare bright to Christmas lights, red brass to radiator ends, sheet to extrusion. Over 200 grades priced daily, posted at the scale and on this site.

Chapter three · The deal

We show you what your metal is worth. Then we pay it.

Certified weighing, transparent grading and direct mill shipments mean more of the check ends up with the person who owned the metal. That is the whole model, and it is why our suppliers stay for decades.

Chapter four · The people

Metal is the business. People are the company.

No phone tree, no ticket queue. When you call the yard, a person who knows metal picks up, and most of them have been doing this a long time.

Chapter five · The word

Why we do this

Our purpose is to honor God by creating an environment where individual men and women may join together to allow our life purposes to change the world through recycling.

That line has been on the wall since the beginning. It is a family company, it runs on straight talk, and it treats the person at the scale the way we would want to be treated.
